Exploring Double Consciousness

In light of massive loss of biodiversity on the planet how can we realise we are nested within an ecology and not just the predators at the top of the food chain? Can adopting forms of Double Consciousness help us to see ourselves from other perspectives? Will this perspective shift help us to reprogram our associations and enable systemic behaviour change? Hyperhumanism involves the deconstruction of the human through understanding that the human condition is not a fixed, but an open notion. Hyperhumanism is defined through the following aspects: A) There are not one but many types of human and types of self. B) Humans are no longer seen as the most important species. C) Hyperhumanism allows us to see existence in inter connected ways (such as through the operating system of non duality) HoloTech concerns combining techniques (ingredients) into stacks of experience in order to create a myriad of altered states and altered traits. Carl is Director of the Learning Technology Research Centre (LTRC) and Principal Research Fellow at Ravensbourne. He has over 17 years of experience conducting research and development into the application of hybrid technologies for perceptual and cognitive transformation. He is currently working on 4 EU projects including the Horizon 2020 project ‘[WEKIT] Wearable Experience for Knowledge Intensive Training’ which aims to create ‘Wearable Experience (WE)’ – an entirely new form of media.

I wish to share this video as an example of multiperspective awareness research that is currently developing. In Embodied imagination dreamwork, we strive to experience many of the viewpoints that the video is trying to illustrate.
